How to download Youtube videos with IDM

Downloading videos from Youtube, is really not easy unless you use a download software like (IDM) Internet Download Manager or Youtube video downloader. I have not used Youtube video downloader, but I have use IDM (Internet Download Manager) several times to success.

First you will have to install IDM in your computer and make sure it’s running, by checking in the talk bar. If the IDM icon is not show in task bar, it means its not running and you may need to lunch it through start then all programs, internet download manager then click internet download manager again from the site menu. It should open and now appear in the task bar. Open Youtube, search and click the video you wish to download. Wait for a while as the video starts loading. At this time, IDM should automatically capture the download link and surges if you like to download video from this page.  Click the message and wait for IDM to process your download. A page appears asking you to choose where to save the file to be downloaded, choose your location and click start download. IDM should now download your video.

Since Youtube does not offer downloads in its pages, you will not expect to see an area to click download this video, but with IDM you should be able to download successfully.

Another important thing is that, if your video failed to download due to network problems, then you can continue when connections are Ok, but it shouldn’t be for too long. IDM does not automatically download or continue downloading videos, but you have to manually double click the IDM icon from the system tray, in the download menu, click “uncompleted downloads” then right click your file and choose Resume download, it should load and continue downloading.

Before you start, you should know that IDM is not free software; there is only a trial version which should expire in 30 days. After 30 days has passed, you will not be able to use IDM and even after uninstalling and reinstalling the software, it continues from where it lastly expired, so buying a copy from the internet download web site is the best choice, or you might have to use a cracked version which should probably not function the same as the original copy.

Note: if you did not choose a location for IDM to download to, it will automatically download the files to corresponding folders in the download folders, for example. If I download a video and did not choose IDM to download to a particular path, it will automatically download the video into the videos folder in Downloads. You can also comfiture whether or not IDM to auto surges downloading if it finds any video loading on page. Remember that if you do not play the video, IDM might not see the videos link, as it automatically surges only loading videos at the time. If you loaded more than 1 video’s on different pages, IDM will surges “Download video from this page”, and when you click on it, you will see a list of different titles of different videos loaded and ready to be downloaded.
