How to block Users in Facebook

So you want to get rid of them mh?
well don't worry cus soon or later they
will not be able to say a word in your time
line or wall, how you think about that, cool right?

Blocking users in facebook is important when you can’t stand annoying users who have nothing to do but a boring chat. Well you will see how that can be done as we move on. You simply want to block a user because you do not want to have anything in common right? Ok hope it be so.
However you do not need permission from users to block them from you contacts, but they will automatically notice after some time that they are not able to see your post and activities in facebook,. They will also lose access to commenting to your time line. All this can be done and you are assured that it is save as facebook has made it absolutely possible.

First, login to your main account and click the settings icon from extreme top right. In the settings drop down, click “Account settings “then click “Blocking” from left panel.
Under the Manage blocking page, you have the various options to block different activities. For example, “Block App invites”.
In the “Block User” input area, type in the email or name for users you want to block. Remember to use a name that the user uses on facebook if you prefer blocking by name.  If you can’t remember the name, or if you know you are not sure of the spelling, use emails and I guess it could be much easier.
Each time you block a user, they are taken to the “Restricted list”, where you can view and make changes to the blocked users. You are done!

How to add sound effect to windows activities

How to add sound effect to windows activities

The customizing features of Windows XP offer more than just visual tweaks. You can also add sound effects - silly or sensible - to orchestrate any move, from opening and closing folders to emptying the Recycle Bin. Sound effects are a perfect complement to any customized desktop and a great way to express your personality. Adding them is easy, too. Here's how:

How do i add the sounds now?
Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
Click Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices.
Under Pick a task, click Change the sound scheme.
On the Sounds tab, under Program events, click the event to which you want to apply a sound.
In the Sounds list, click the sound you want to link to the event.
To hear the sound, click the playbutton to the right of the Sounds list. If you are satisfied with your choice, click OK. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have linked sounds to as many program events as you want.
To save your settings into a personalized sound scheme, click Save As. Type a name for the sound scheme, and then click OK.
Click OK to complete the procedure and save your sound scheme, and you are done.

How to hide and un-hide icons in system tray

How to hide and un-hide icons in system tray

If you have icons filling up your system tray unnecessarily, you can decide which of them are viewed and at what time. On most computers i have seen with individuals, their system tray is always filled up with almost every program that can be placed in system tray. System tray can be used to hold some programs that can easily or mostly viewed, like Yahoo Messenger, Volume Control, Date and Time, Local Area Connection.

If you noticed your system tray occupied by unnecessary programs you can either remove or hide the ones you don't need.

Right click on task bar and choose properties.
Choose customize to view more options.
Under Current Items, click each program at extreme right to view more options for each program.

In the drop down, you have three options to choose either:

- Hide when inactive
- Always hide
- Always show

Choosing any of them will take an immediate effect. Click Ok to save changes, and you are done.
