Downloading files or images from ....

Downloading files or images from the internet to your PC.

Its important saving things from the internet, because you might not be able to get the same web site you lastly visited, which contained the things you did like. Some of this can be Images, Information and more.
Today I will be showing  you basically two ways of saving either  images or files from the internet.
Before you begin looking deeply, you should already have an understanding of what browsing is all about, because here I will not be tutoring how to research articles or images, but I will be helping you save the ones you find important, for example. If you opened http://pfortoday.blogspot.com/2013/05/hidding-folders-in-windows-xp.html  and discovered better information on what you have been looking for, and with no time to sit and read since you are  still working on other articles, it is now your place to save these files either to your computer or a Flash Drive where you can read later. Most browsers or authors do not restrict saving data from their web sites, same as many web sites today do not protect information running on their web sites from being copied. But remember there is “Copyright law” In every web site, so you may not use their information for either making money without permission  from the site authors.

Saving the information now is the main target we are going to be looking  at kindly. You probably know you will need those files later right? but you don’t know what to do and how to get them at your on control.

Here we are going to start with saving images and secondly, saving written files:

If there is an image you wish to save on another persons web site, you could possibly ask for permission from the author(s) of the site, but if not possible you have no choice than just having to save them. No body will have in mind or waist that much time, searching for site authors just to tell them they wanted some information from their web site and wants permission from them first, is that not true? if you can waist that much time waiting for permission from site authors just to copy images, raise up your hand. No body will lock you up for using their images or files legally, so be careful the way you use them. After all not every body will monitor everything going on on their site, and even if the monitored your every click they will not stop you from saving what you like, since the information on the site is for the public anyway.

1.       Right click the image and choose “Save Image  As” from the right click dialog that opens. A dialog box opens up, asking you where and what name to save the image with. You could still just confirm save, to save with the original name the image was hosted with, for example. Most images downloaded from Google are saved with a default name “Images”, but for easy recognition and for your own benefit, it is recommended to choose a new name. In the “Save” area, type into the text box your desired name and and choose a location where the image should be saved, confirm save and you are done. The most important things is that after saving these images, you will need no internet to open them  so you are given control over them while in your PC. Choosing a location is same as choosing your drive label, maybe you worked in a Cyber Cafe machine and your  files cannot be saved on their  Computers, simply choose

1.       your drive name as you would do for other locations if you had to save in the computer.

Lets look into saving written files.

Maybe  you have not yet understood the difference between saving written data and images, you are just a few minutes away to understand that saving images is different from saving written data files.
It is not possible to right click on a document and choose save as, but the only thing you can do is  to  either save the entire page, or highlight the whole area you wish to save and past into a word processing  like Microsoft Office Word.
However  saving the whole site is also an important idea as many will prefer. When you save an entire site without choosing a particular area, you have the whole page saved on your PC or Flash Drive and can view at any time later. Forgetting about internet connections, all you need is a browser, for example. Mozilla Firefox will surely open all files saved directly from the internet same as in any other web browser. The files downloaded are saved to a specified location and you can now brows them at the time needed.

Good luck. Other posts to the right, i know you will like it!
